Meetings
Regular meetings shall be held on the Thursday night prior to each point- tournament. The annual business meeting will be held on the Thursday night prior the February point tournament note this will be the beginning of the new season. All meetings will start at 6:00 P.M..

Voting and Election Rules
1. To vote in a new rule, new officer, or amend a rule, there must be a majority vote of members present that votes.
2. To vote out a member or officer, there must be a seventy-five (75%) majority vote of members present that votes.
3. The President may call for a secret ballot vote anytime.
4. At the annual business meeting the majority Rules.
5. A new member must have a 100% vote of members present that votes.
6. The president can vote on all issues. If there is a tie, he will flip a coin.
Club Rules
1. Club members' children, during the year of his/hers sixteenth birthday and not before, shall then automatically
become a member with full rights and provisions of the club. The new member is not required to pay membership
dues until the following year.
2. There will be no rule changes, after the annual business meeting, unless there is a conflict with something not
covered by a rule, an act of God, or major emergency.
3. Upon a club member's 62 birthday, their membership will become lifetime, providing they have been a member for
the past five years.
4. Wives and children of the club members have all rights and privileges except voting rights. Note: If a wife or child of a club member pays to fish in the senior division than they can vote on the location, landing, and weigh in time.
5. Life jackets will be worn anytime an outboard is running above idle speed.
6. Any club rule or state law broken could result in disqualification for that tournament.
7. There will be a point-tournament scheduled to be fished on the first Saturday of each month ( The Club can only fish a maximum of two points tournaments per month).
8. The top 5 members with 1000 points or more, the member that catches the big Bass of the year, the member that
breaks the record for big Bass, the angler of the year, the winner of the Classic,and the junior angler of the year,
may elect ti have a trophy,plaque, or a free tournament.
(The record big Bass is 10.37 lbs caught by Harold Holder 2016).
9. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed during any club activities.
Dues
1. Membership into Molino Bass Club is yearly.
2. Membership is $40.00 donations. Note: The dues will go up to $50.00 starting in the 2025 season.
3. Dues must be paid no later than the April meeting for active members. In case a active member can’t make it to a
monthly meeting, they can pay their membership at any tournament before the April regular tournament. Failure to do
will move that member to inactive.
4. If an inactive member has been in the club for two consecutive years and is in good standing, that member doesn’t
need to be voted into the club again. When they pay their annual dues, they will be reinstated to active membership.
5. Entry fee for each point tournament will be $40.00. Payout for each point tournament will be $12 first place, $8 second place, $6 third place , $4 forth place when there is 20 plus angles, and $2 fifth place when there is 30 plus anglers, and $5 for big fish.
6. Dues must be paid at the annual business meeting before you can vote on rule changes.
Tournament Rules
1. In order to be eligible to vote entry fee must be paid prior to voting on tournament sites and quitting time at each
meeting. This is for voting privileges only. All members are still eligible to fish each and every tournament; entry fee
can still be paid at tournament site. Tournament judges will decide if entry fee will be reimbursed due to personal
reasons the member cannot fish the tournament.
2.There will be twelve point tournaments per year. Yearly point total shall be taken for members seven best point-
tournaments. If seven point-tournaments are not fished, then totals will be based upon the tournaments fished.
3. The member having the highest cumulative point total out of his or hers best seven or less regular tournaments of
the year will be declared the points Champion or (Angler of the year). All ties in the cumulative year end standings will
be broken by season (all points tournaments) cumulative net weight. The winner of each tournament will receive 150
points, 2nd place 149
points, 3rd place 148 points and so on. In the event of a tie in a tournament both anglers will receive the points for the
place they are tied at, and the subsequent place will remain vacant. Example: A tie for 3rd place would result in both
3rd place angles receiving 148 points. The next angler behind them would be the 5th place angler and would receive
146 points. Anglers not weighing any fish will receive 1 less point than the last place angler with fish.
4. Each contestant may enter five Bass, twelve inches or longer, where state law exceeds. All short bass will be taken
from catch and there will be a 1 lb penalty for each short bass.
5. Anglers are responsible for knowing state law on fish lengths.
6. Tournament judges will weigh and release fish.
7. No fish will be weighed on a stringer, and fish must be clean, free of dirt and debris upon weigh-in. If you are not
keeping fish, Judges will weigh and release them.
8. At judges discretion, smallest fish to be weighed must be measured on board supplied by the club.
9. There will be no courtesy checks at weigh-in.
10. Tournament sites and times will be decided at regular club meetings. Pre-paid members will nominate tournament
sites and times from the floor. Members may vote for their first and second choices. The tournament sites and times
Receiving the most votes will be in a run off, if necessary in the case of a tie, the president will flip a coin.
11. Any tournament may be moved to the next saturday or cancelled by 70% of members present.
12. If a launch site becomes a problem after it has been voted in. Then club officers that is present can add another
launch site. Any changes made has to be fair to all members.
13. Contestant may fish anywhere they can go by boat. This excludes all landlocked water. All contestants must
remain in boat while fishing.
14. All contestants will start and return at same launch site. No trailering boats during the tournament. ( Only
exception is rule # 14) A member starting late must check in with another member. If a member shows up at the
landing where the tournament is being held, they are considered fishing the tournament and must pay their extra fee.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
15. If contestant must leave early, they can leave their fish with another member to be weighed in, if the member will
accept the fish. State Rules for Bag Limits Apply!
16. Only artificial bait will be used. NO live bait permitted in boat.
17. No one will be allowed to fish with a rod over eight feet long.
18. By default all day tournaments will start at safe daylight. Quitting time will be on the hour and determined at club
meetings. Returning late results in disqualification No Exception!
19. A tournament judge has the right to check any contestant or boat before, during, and after the tournament. They
must do so upon request of one or more contestants.
20. Tournament judges have full authority over all tournaments-this includes scales, weigh-Ins, and grievances. Their
judgment is final.
21. In case of a tie for tournament weight, the big fish will determine the winner. Note: For purpose of payout only.
in case of a tie for big fish, the total weigh will determine the winner.
22. At judges or anglers discretion, Big Fish of each contestants catch will be weighed.
23. Weigh-in will be random.
24.Guest must fish with a member and the fee for a guest is $10.00 Note: A guest can only fish for Big Fish.
25. All contestants will have running lights on at blast off or wait until everyone has left.
26. The President,Secretary,Tournament Director,Treasurer, Web Master, and Angler of the year will get to fish one
free tournament because they manage the meetings, keep track of the money, and points for the year, respectively.
27. Molino Bass Club will pay 5 places for each point tournament with conditions . From each entry $12 first place, $8 second place, $6 third place, $4 forth place when there are 20 plus angles , $2 fifth place when there are 30 plus angles , and $5 for big fish. Club will ensure the prize money will be equal to ten entries per tournament.
28. A penalty of .25 lbs per fish will be deducted from total weight for each fish not released alive back into the water.
29. Entry fee for the Booray pot will be $20.00 for the first tournament and $5.00 for each tournament afterward until it is broke then it will repeat. To participate in the Booray the angler must be fully vested in the pot before the tournament starts. The Booray pot will be accounted for separately from the regular club budget and will carry over until the current weight mark is broken. The sum of the Booray pot will be awarded to the angler with the heaviest single tournament legal fish that breaks the current weight mark during a club tournament. Booray pot to be raised by 1/4 pound each time the weight is broken. It will start at 5 pounds with a cap at 6 pounds.It will start over at 5 pounds. The Booray pot will be fished for in all tournaments that is put on by Molino Bass Club this includes the Classic, boat tournaments. Note: This does not include the Top Ten tournament .
30. If you have any money in the bank and you participate in the booray then money will transfer to the booray pot each month if needed . Unless the angle informs the club that he is no longer participating in the booray.
Classic Rules
1. Classic Qualifications
A. Member must have 500 points or more to fish the classic. However, senior members over 70 years of age must
have 100 points.
B. Member must pay a entry fee of $100.00.
C. Payout for the Classic will be one for every five anglers that paid to Fish.
2. The date for the Classic will by voted on by the regular December meeting. The classic will be fished in February
or March.
3. All other details of the Classic will be voted on at the regular January meeting. You must have $60 of your entry-
fee paid and be at the meeting to vote.
4. For each regular tournament that a member has paid to fish $5 will go toward his Classic entry fee.
5. In the Classic tournament, Big Fish payout will be 10% of the total pot. The remaining 90% will be paid out in a
manner determined at the regular September meeting.
6. Classic entry fee must be paid no later than the Monday before the tournament.
7. All club rules apply to classic except where noted in classic rules.
8. No guest allowed to fish Classic.
Junior Division Classic
1. The Junior Division Classic will be fished the same time as the Senior Division Classic.
2. The club will pay $ 50.00 or a trophy / plaque for first place.
3. Entry fee is $10.00.
4. The heaviest net weight wins.
Junior Division
1. Eligible to Fish.
A. Anyone fishing the Junior Division must fish with a Member.
B. Boys must be 15 years old or younger at the beginning of the season.
C. Women and Girls are eligible to fish the Junior Division.
D. The youth includes the members children,stepchildren,grandchildren,nephews,nieces,cousins, foster kids, and
also includes any that is being sponsored by a member through the Big Brothers or Big Sisters of American
Organization.
2. Dues.
A. Entry fee for each tournament will be $10.00 per Angler.
B. All of the entry fees will go for prize money in the Junior Division.
3. Prizes.
A. There will be three categories of weight in which you can win one. 0-.99 lbs, 1- 2.99 lbs, and 3 lbs and up.
B. Also there will be a Big Fish category that you can win. The Big Bass must be 2 lbs or bigger. Example: If you catch
a bass 2.5 lbs and that was the most weight from any angler then you would win first place and big fish. You would
get the prize money from both categories.
C. From the $10.00 entry fee $ 2.00 will go into the big fish and $ 6.00 will divide for the other 3 categories.
D. There will be a minimum of $ 10.00 in the 0-.99 lb, $ 15.00 in the 1-2.99 lb, and $ 20.00 in the 3 lb and up, and
$ 10.00 in the big fish category.
4. Tournament Rules.
A. Each angler can weigh in three Bass of any length. If state law permits.
B. Yearly point total shall be taken from anglers five best point tournaments.
C. The angler having the highest cumulative point total out of his or hers best five or less regular tournaments of the
year will be declared the points champion or (Angler of the year Junior Division). All ties in the cumulative year end
standings will be broken by season cumulative net weight. The winner of each tournament will receive 25 points, 2nd
place 24 points, 3rd place 23 points and so on. In the event of a tie in a tournament both angles will receive the points
for the place they are tied at, and the subsequent place will remain vacant. Example: A tie for 3rd place would result in
both 3rd place anglers receiving 23 points. The next angler behind them would be the 5th place angler and would
receive 21 points. Anglers not weighing any fish will receive 1 less point than the last place angler with fish. If there is
no fish weighed in by any angler each angler will receive 5 points.
D. Tournament Director and Judges have full authority over all tournaments. This includes scales, weigh-Ins, and
grievances their judgment is final.
Boat Tournaments
1. $100 fee per boat.
2. Pay Out = $40 first place, $25 second place, $15 third place, $10 big fish, and $10 goes to the club.
3. Each boat can weigh in 5 bass. Must be 12" or longer.
4. The boat Tournament will be a open Tournament.
Points for the boat Tournaments.
1. Points will be the same as Club points except: each angler in the boat will receive the same amount of points. Example: If the boat comes
in first place than each angler will receive 150 points. Also each angler will be credited for the amount of fish weighed in. Example: If there
are 2 anglers fishing in the boat and they weigh in 10 lbs of fish they both will be created 10 lbs of fish.
2. In case of a tie for the boat tournament points champion. The first tie breaker will be the total weigh of the year. And the second tie breaker
will be the biggest fish of the year.
3. Points will come from the tournaments we fish less one tournament. Example: If we fish 4 tournaments than your best 3 tournaments will
count.
4. The points champion will receive a plaque or free regular tournament at the end of the season.
The Big Ten Tournament
The Tournament will be fished each year for the top ten winners from the season before. If an angler can not fish the next angler in line will become eligible. The tournament will be fished within 50 miles of Molino. The tournament will be fished on the second Saturday of June each year.To participate in this tournament your
membership dues has to be paid up. The payout will be $500 first place, $350 second place, and $150 third place. Each angler can put in $20.00 to be paid out for big fish. The $20 for big fish is optional. The anglers that is qualified to fish the tournament will pick the location, landing, and weigh-in time at the June regular meeting. Entry fee is $40.
Molino Bass Club's weigh in procedure
1. Zero the scales for each angler with the basket and weigh in bag on the scales.
2. Weigh the anglers big fish first then add the rest of the fish and weigh them for the total weight. ( Weighing the big fish is up to you and the angler)
3.If you are going to dump any excess water from the basket or weigh in bag do it before you zero the scales. ( The Basket, weigh in bag, and
excess water will be zeroed together so you don't want to dump any excess water while weighing the fish.)
4. Make sure you do the same with each angler.
5. The reason we us the plastic bags. A. When you wrap the fish up in the bag they don't flounce as bad. B. The plastic bag protects the fish better.
6. If a fish has any movement at the of being weighed than that fish is considered alive.
